My Hubby and I love to read with each other. This year on our vacation we read Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. I really enjoyed it. It's a really easy read. Most kids would really enjoy it. It's a lot less dark than Harry Potter. (I really liked that series as well)
We are most of the way through the next book in the series already. Can't wait to see what happens.

Love those books! (The movie isn't as good)
It's so true. The movie was a completely different story. I was so disappointed. As we were reading I kept asking my Hubby "what about this. . .?" and "So this didn't really happen?" So sad.
