Gathering Christmas by Larry R. Laycock

I liked this book so much, I thought I would share it with you. This was a wonderful way for me to start my Christmas season. This book has drifted around my house since I was a little girl, but I never read it. The spirit that flows through the book will touch your heart. It makes me want to be the older couple when I've been married 40 years.
I would recommend reading it aloud with your spouse and/or children. But be prepared to explain why the old man is dressed up as Santa to your younger ones. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
