Birth Control Lectures

We are having another little one. No it wasn't planned and I have affectionately been calling it our Oops Baby #2. Apparently we can't have children when we plan to. Only on accident.

Can someone please explain to me why people feel the need to lecture me on the how to's of birth control. I know how it works and also know that it doesn't sometimes. Abstinence is NOT an option when you have a demanding little one, cluttered home you just can't get to, you can't remember the last time you got ready, and you want to ensure your Hubby that you really DO still love him. Really? I don't need the lectures. Why do people do this?

people like to get into others businesses, because theirs is so imperfect.

I am truly happy for you. If I could get pregnant on accident or on purpose it would be the most amazing thing in the world for me. You make beautiful babies!!

Hugs!

People love to throw their two cents in no matter if it's needed or wanted. Just take whatever they say with a gain (pound)of salt.

Congrats on the new baby.

When you figure that out, let me know!

When I was preggers with oops baby #3, someone I had never spoken to before offered me "reading material" since it was "obvious" I didn't know how I kept getting pregnant.

Please.

Just ignore them all.

Congrats! I think it's exciting!

Stupid are so dumb.

I found out I was two months pregnant after 3 months of marriage with my first. Imagine those kids of lectures.

THEN.

There is 6 years difference between my 3rd and 4th child. Those were some AWESOME lectures. not.

cheer up buttercup, baby's come when them come. It's all good.

Congratulations! Just wait until you're pregnant with your 5th - then they start going into details about HOW babies are made. Really people! (BTW - I had 5 babies in 6 years and only the first was planned - had I not miscarried twice we would have had 3 babies born within 24 months...:)
