There is a good reason for my absense.

I've been stuck at home sick for the last 2 weeks. You know. . . the sick that lasts at least three months.

So, I was wondering what all of you did when you were sick? Any tricks to keep you from throwing up and spending most of the day laying down?

Right now I am struggling to find things that work. Or these things work one day and not the next. I need some ideas.

If I'm thinking of the right sickness then first off congrats to you and Marshall!!! That's totally awesome! (I just now saw the label for this post...glad we are on the same page) Isn't the sickies a total suck?? I pretty much eat all the time, even if I don't feel like eating, because I know it will make me feel better. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks every 2 hours or so. Sometimes Cory brings me breakfast in bed and that makes me feel better too, since I eat something before I even get out of bed in the morning. and I just embrace it and eat whatever the heck I'm craving. Ramen noodles, fazoli's breadsticks (I ate like 8 of them. sick.) you name it, cause it makes me less sick. And since I embrace the cravings, I embrace the weight gain. You can always work out after the kid comes! :) gotta love being pregnant. Good luck!! (ps, this is tiff LeeMaster)

yes. eat, eat , eat. and I ate things like yogurt or a sandwitch. for some reason fruite and veggies would take the hunger off for a shorter time, and then that left me sick and hungry sooner then I anticipated. It will change what you crave because the hormones are chenging so rapidly. I really recoment teh vitamin B6. some times you can get them in a jell pill that you can take aprt and dump the poder into your milk or something. I am so excited for you. And greatful its you and not me. I am so not ready to do that for the 3rd time yet. the sickness and the head aches and the tiredness are just too much for me. you can do it. You are incredibly strong. Lova ya!

Congratulations - what an exciting time for you. The sickness can only last 9 months. That's a very light price to pay for what you will be getting. Not that you will think that while you are going through it. Hope all goes well.

I used to eat limes and lots of them. Only thing that worked for me and it would settle the baby right down. Still does even now that he is almost 7 months old. All he has to do is smell it and he stops crying.
